PHOTOSHOP PHUN

Yes! I LOVE PHOTOSHOP! I'm addicted to it and I cannot imagine my life without it.
Photoshop is the only thing that can brighten up a very dull day.
I made most of these during my internship when I needed a break from the studio work.

I was really craving for some fish when I made this. I would have pounced on
a plate of fish n chips like a monster if I would have found one!

So on this day I was really missing my long hair!! Really really really missing it!

I had just watched Yellow Submarine, and its really hard to get it out of your head when you
are trying to work. This is just a random illustration inspired from the movie.

When I made this I was only thinking about my Grandfather's old turquoise
Bajaj Chetak scooter, on which I spent half my childhood.

Yes, I am self obsessed. Also, I was in a very colourful mood :D

FROM THE SKETCHBOOK.

MIX IT. MASH IT.

This is some of my work in different mediums. I love experimenting with
mediums as I was always more of a crafts person.

This is a paper cut-out poster for my Illustration course for
saving the 2-horned rhino (endangered specie).

This is a canvas for our college fest RGB. That time I could only think of monsters and
then I just squeezed them together in a small square piece. I really enjoyed making this and I used everything I could find in my room - poster paint, fluorescent colours, sharpies, coloured powder and clay. The clay eyes sure made it pop out a bit :D

Here's the rough draft and the original canvas.

And these are my favourite pigs from our DCC model in my first year.
Meet Here and There and Everywhere.

FACE IT.

I have always been scared of making portraits because they just end up
looking awkward. These are a few of them which look a little decent.

These are 2 versions of my friend. When she saw what I had done, she got reallllllly pissed.   If I am dead tomorrow its probably because she saw them here. But I'm not giving up so easily. There will be more of her here soon, if I'm still alive ;)

This is another friend of mine who's always with his ipod and his cigarettes.
This isn't really a portrait, it's just how I see him :)

Now here's Elvis and my favourite TV show character, Dr. House!

Okay, this one's obviously not a portrait, I was just fooling around with my friend's
passport pictures while sitting in the night mess after a looong day.
But that's the thing about passport pictures,
they always look bad, so I just made it a little worse :P

MAYA MADNESS!!!

This was the craziest month of my life. SERIOUSLY.
This was the time when we had classes from 9 in the morning to
at night in a lab which would constantly smell of a fish market
( The ACs refused to work ).
But apart from all this, all of us had a lot of fun and worked our ass off.
We did produce some good work and the best part is that
ALL of us managed to complete the course! :D

Here are some of my 3D models.

This one is a rainbow christmas beetle ( yes its a fancy name fr an insect ).
This was our first proper model on Maya ( after trying to model a human hand )...

The next model we made was that of a plane.
This one is a 'Sopwith Camel' - a First World War,
 single seat biplane fighter.
This was our first fully rendered model where
we learnt unfolding our models into UV maps
and rendering them on photoshop.

This is my final model of a Fangtooth fish.
This fish gave me the hardest time ever.
I don't even know how many layers I had to use to render this fish,
but I was very happy with the result.

SCREENING POSTERS!

These are some posters I made for my batch mate's fiction film screening
(film and video communication).
