COMIC!!
Hey guys!! I thought I'd share the first few pages of my comic with you..
It's still a work in progress and hopefully I'll finish it soon :D
So these are the first 3 pages from my 12 page
comic book as a part of a course at NID.
And here's another page from another comic which was a part
of our stereoscopy course. Our batch of 15 was divided into 3 groups
of 5 and we had to do a small 5 page comic,
where all of us did one page each in 3D.
This was a lot of fun as the story was very spontaneous.
It would obviously look better if you guys have 3D glasses to view it with
and I will post all the 5 pages together soon :D

TOO MUCH TIMEPASS.
This is what happens when you have gelatin sheets,
old magazines, a lot of stationary and a lot of time.
(And of course a little photoshop to fool around)
On this day I was in a very surreal zone.

Sometimes I go in a full Bollywood zone.
The lines in the left one are from one of my favourite songs.
I made the second one when i couldn't find my scissors,
but I'm sure I'll never grow such a long beard :P
I was trying out some hair texture which ended
up looking very different from what i expected.
While i was doing that, one of my friends tried to drink coffee
mixed with thums up, because all of us were too tired and
mixed with thums up, because all of us were too tired and
bored and our brains weren't functioning at all.
P.S. The thums up-coffee combo wasn't all that bad.

And then one night I'm babysitting a Gorilla in my dream. WEIRD.

EXPLORING...
I was just trying out a new photoshop brush with a little different treatment.
This is my good friend Victor's portrait. He calls himself 'The Scooter Hero'
and is in love with his scooter 'Stacey'.
This one is an illustration for 'Illustration Friday'. Their topic for last friday was 'burst'.
RUNNING OUT OF INK!
My Stabilos have been my only faithful companions during the last one week of 'Science and Liberal Arts'. I would have died without them. The only leeeetle problem I have with them is that they run out of ink reaaaalllly fast.. or maybe its just how i use (by use i mean rape) them.
I wish there were bigger stabilos which would last longer for people like me because every second day i have to go and buy a new set of pens. Anyway, the end result always makes me happy. No other medium can give me such satisfaction :P

PHOTOSHOP PHUN
Yes! I LOVE PHOTOSHOP! I'm addicted to it and I cannot imagine my life without it.
Photoshop is the only thing that can brighten up a very dull day.
I made most of these during my internship when I needed a break from the studio work.
I was really craving for some fish when I made this. I would have pounced on
a plate of fish n chips like a monster if I would have found one!
So on this day I was really missing my long hair!! Really really really missing it!
I had just watched Yellow Submarine, and its really hard to get it out of your head when you
are trying to work. This is just a random illustration inspired from the movie.
When I made this I was only thinking about my Grandfather's old turquoise
Bajaj Chetak scooter, on which I spent half my childhood.
Yes, I am self obsessed. Also, I was in a very colourful mood :D
MIX IT. MASH IT.
This is some of my work in different mediums. I love experimenting with
mediums as I was always more of a crafts person.
This is a paper cut-out poster for my Illustration course for
saving the 2-horned rhino (endangered specie).
This is a canvas for our college fest RGB. That time I could only think of monsters and
then I just squeezed them together in a small square piece. I really enjoyed making this and I used everything I could find in my room - poster paint, fluorescent colours, sharpies, coloured powder and clay. The clay eyes sure made it pop out a bit :D
Here's the rough draft and the original canvas.
And these are my favourite pigs from our DCC model in my first year.
Meet Here and There and Everywhere.
